16-Year-old Magician’s ‘Time Travel’ Act Wows Judges

Everyone has watched a magic act and was left thinking,’How’d they pull off that trick?’ The mind then usually goes through all the scenarios and possibilities as to how the performer may have done it. One young musician’s trick left an entire studio audience, including the judges, in complete astonishment.

Jasper Cherry, a 16-year-old from England, pulled off a time travel trick that was so intricate and amazing that it can’t be possible. But it is, right?

Jasper, after a short back and forth with the judges, asks Heidi Klum to join him on the stage and to bring her cell phone with her. Jasper then asks Heidi to select a card from the deck – the 5 of Spades – and to place the card back in the deck face up.

Then Jasper, after another move with the cards, somehow makes his phone go back five minutes before our eyes. Heidi’s phone has somehow done the very same thing. But that’s not all!

Jasper asks the studio audience to check their phones. They have all gone back five minutes in time! The camera then cuts to a few people sitting in the audience who are left in utter disbelief.

Again, that is not the end of Jasper’s trick. The screen behind him plays a short video of Jasper leaving his house, getting on a plane and entering his hotel room ahead of his appearance on the show. The video seems to indicate that he had, hours ago, predicted the card Heidi was going to select.

Of course, Jasper’s performance with the cards and the phone is nothing more than a trick. However, what Jasper has done is still very impressive. I can’t even begin to explain how he may have accomplished such an illusion!

Well done, young man!

Philippians 4:8 “Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honest, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.”
