13-Year-Old Singing Ventriloquist Cracks the Judges Up On AGT

Some people may find they’ve been blessed with talent in two, three or four areas, while others may be more limited. One teenager appeared on America’s Got Talent: All-Stars and displayed her many different talents.

Ana-Maria Margean showed her knack for singing, ventriloquism and comedy in a video posted to YouTube. The teen from Romania stepped out onto the stage with a puppet, put on a ventriloquist act that had the judges cracking up, and managed to dazzle them and the studio audience with a song.

The clip begins with Ana-Maria introducing her puppet friend, Mrs. Know-it-all. Ana-Maria describes her felty friend as someone who is “always here to give me advice and encouragement.”

After a few helpful words of advice from Mrs. Know-it-all, Ana-Maria starts off and sings the first few lines of “I Put a Spell on You.” The studio cheers wildly, showing appreciation for Ana-Maria’s singing, but not everyone agrees.

Ana-Maria only gets a couple of lines into the song when Mrs. Know-it-all stops her, admonishes her and tries to show her the proper way to sing. Mrs. Know-it-all gives it a shot. The audience also enjoys the puppet’s version of the song.

Ana-Maria and her puppet then go back and forth singing. The audience gets a weird version of a duet.

The judges, like the studio audience, love Ana-Maria’s act which incorporates comedy and beautiful singing.

“It was flawless. It was absolutely flawless, and you did it even without moving your lips,” Heidi Klum said.

“You know, being on the other side of the globe, in a country where this is not even your first language, and being able to entertain an American audience, an English-speaking audience is amazing,” Howie Mandel stated.

Simon Cowell concurred with his fellow judges’ statements.

“It just got better and better and better,” Simon said. “There’s a massive, massive market for someone with your talent and you really deserve to be here.”

Philippians 4:8 “Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honest, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.”
