LaDonna was an activity director at a nursing home facility for almost 6 years. One of the residents of the home was getting ready to "Cross Jordan" which is the biblical term that we use for death. LaDonna was in the room with the resident as well as the family and some of the nursing staff. The room was quiet when the resident asked them "Can't you all hear them singing?". Then the resident has went 'home' to be with Jesus, but that question she asked stuck with LaDonna, and it helped inspire her to write this wonderful song. This song tells about the promise to the Christians that if you die a Christian you are not going to face death alone. It also offers hope to 'lost' people that if they become a Christian they then get that same promise. God Bless Everyone... Narrow Path
