TLC- Leadership Social Skills Overnight Camp | Orlando Christian Child Teen Counseling Video
For students that may have social skills issues with their peer group or lack assertion/confidence, ADHD, Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Anxiety, Depression, etc.
Students will be divided by age groups: 6-9 & 10-16. Offers a chance to observe and redirect student’s interactions with peers. Campers work together to solve challenges and will have opportunities to build relationships, learn to trust and become trustworthy. Some things they will learn: reading body language from horses, empathy, teamwork and respect.
The Day Camp includes the experiential experience of a challenge/ropes course, swimming, canoeing & the recap Camp DVD. The campers will also receive coaching and mentoring in the following areas:
Character Building
Leadership/Communication Skills
Responding to Provoking/Bullying
Anger Management/Conflict Resolution Coping Skills
Learn to overcome fears
Reduce Depressive symptoms & Anxiety by building self-confidence and facing fears.
