The Sound of an Angel's Voice

Today, we look at a person who is easily overlooked in the story about the birth of Jesus: Joseph. While Christian art and Christmas pageants focus on Jesus and his mother, Mary, Joseph often is there on the periphery of the story. Mary was not the only one that heard the voice of an angel speaking to her. Joseph had his own angelic visitor. As we hear about Joseph and his angelic visitor today, let us learn not only about Joseph but let us also learn FROM him about following Jesus today. Take a moment as worship begins to offer a prayer of thanksgiving for the opportunity to worship God and for what God will say to you in this time of worship today.
