Food for Thought

The Bethesda Mission's ultimate goal is to reach out a helping hand to the men and women of the streets, our inner-city youth and rural poor for the purpose of "introducing them to the Gospel of Jesus Christ," and providing them with food, shelter, clothing, fellowship, and Christian counseling. Over 88,000 meals were served and Bethesdaâ??s beds were slept in nearly 34,000 times in 2006. The Mission has provided open beds for up to 75 men and 40 women and children each and every night. The outreach ministry has also distributed over 5.5 million pounds of food to individuals and families in need in this year alone. Please check out our website at for more information.
