People are always asking us about the home we live in. We rent a nice concrete home near the market in Verrettes, Haiti. It was fixed up by the last occupants as they had planned to start an orphanage. They put in the tile floors, bathroom and kitchen. We put in the metal security barrier in the back and the generator/motorcycle shed. We hope to build or own place in 2008-9 into a hillside as our home, having a flat concrete roof, is too hot. Average temp is 92 degrees at 10pm (outside is cooler but the heat is retained inthe concrete). We hope to get short term mission groups to come down in 2008-9 to help us build the home as well as a separate office. We also have litttle privacy and no place for a garden at our current location.
