“You Make It Feel Like Christmas” by Blake Shelton Gwen Stefani at Rockefeller Center
It’s difficult not to embrace the holiday spirit when listening to and watching this performance of “You Make It Feel Like Christmas” by Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani live at Rockefeller Center!
It might have seemed unlikely that Ada, Oklahoma’s country crooner would ever end up with the California-born lady lead vocalist of the rock band No Doubt. But it’s absolutely true. Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani may compete for the attention of contestants on their hit show, but the two are definitely on the same team in their personal lives!
After meeting on The Voice, Blake and Gwen began dating in 2015, became engaged in 2020, and were married in 2021. Now, they are merging their musical talents and recording together. Check out this lively holiday tune that the couple performed during the “Christmas at Rockefeller Center” holiday special, which aired on NBC, Wednesday, November 30, 2022.
Craig Melvin, Hoda Kotb, and Mario Lopez introduce the singing duo, sharing that the love birds co-wrote the song they’ll perform. Here are a few lines from their 2017 holiday hit!
Thought I was done for, thought that love had died
But you came along, I swear you saved my life
And I wanna thank you, baby
'Cause you make it feel like Christmas
Gwen is glamorous as always. She’s decked out in a glitzy, green gown and crimson lips, and her platinum blond hair is curled in big waves. Blake wears jeans, a red-and-black flannel shirt, and boots.
On Gwen’s side of the stage are four silver-clad dancers. And on the other side, there’s a female backup singer and two horn players. Behind all of that, there is a drummer, a trombonist, and two folks playing guitars of one form or another!
A lot is happening, and it is all super fun to watch. The song is peppy and beckons listeners to sing along. And, even though the two stars on stage don’t really match in terms of wardrobe, they certainly match with their vocal skills!
Here’s hoping that this season, we all feel just as the song describes—that our partner makes “it” feel like Christmas!
“When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the baby leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit.” Luke 1:41

Today's Devotional
A Prayer to Help You Comfort Others - Your Daily Prayer - April 25
Have you ever wondered if there is any purpose in your suffering? We certainly don’t go looking for suffering—it comes to us because life is a journey through difficulties and triumphs. Sufferings are a reminder of what Jesus Christ went through and it is a way for us to encourage others.
