Redeemed Quartet Sings 'The Old Rugged Cross'

Redeemed Quartet Sings 'The Old Rugged Cross'

Praise the Lord as the four gentlemen from the Redeemed Quartet sing the classic hymn ‘The Old Rugged Cross.’ This beautiful song is the perfect reminder that there is hope and salvation in the Name of the Lord.

“On a hill far away stood an old rugged cross
The emblem of suffering and shame
And I love that old cross where the dearest and best
For a world of lost sinners was slain”

Josh and Caleb Koble and Ben and Nate Duncan make up the Redeemed Quartet. These two sets of brothers have been friends for years but now they have taken that friendship to a whole new level. This talented quartet uses their God-given voices to sing praises to His Name with stunning covers and inspiring originals.

Today, they are at the Pokagon Methodist Episcopal Church in Pokagon, Michigan for a very special performance of ‘The Old Rugged Cross.’

This church is actually the very same church where the songwriter, George Bennard, performed the hymn for the very first time.

“So I'll cherish the old rugged cross
Till my trophies at last I lay down
I will cling to the old rugged cross
And exchange it some day for a crown”

What an incredible moment to witness these young men honor our Lord in such a beautiful way. Who else is singing along right now to this beloved hymn?

Romans 10:9 “That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you shall be saved.”
