'Lifemark' Kirk Cameron Movie Trailer Highlights The Gift Of Adoption

Get ready for an incredible movie based on real life. ‘Lifemark’ Kirk Cameron movie trailer highlights the gift of adoption.

We have a heavenly father who regards all of us as his children. He cares so much about each of us, he moves mountains to ensure we know we are loved. God also reminded us to take care of the widows, the poor, the needy, and orphans among us.

Lifemark weaves in the story of God’s gift of adoption through this riveting film that is based on a true story. This inspirational and heartwarming film centers around a young man’s life when his birth mother unexpectedly reaches out to him.

This leads him to set out on an incredible journey to discover his past and why his parents placed him for adoption in the first place. He learns his parents were teenagers and chose to give him up so he could have every opportunity that life has to offer with parents who not only wanted him but gave him the world. The most beautiful part of the film is how Kirk reveals what a gift adoption truly is.

The trailer has been viewed over 130,000 times with hundreds of comments. One viewer shared that she is a birth mom to two children. She said it was the toughest decision she had ever made, but she wanted to ensure her children could have a loving and stable home that she knew she couldn’t give. She wrote, “With lots of tears and prayers, I sent my babies off to their new parents. Both of them (boy and girl) are grown and had wonderful lives. They are beautiful and happy, with children of their own. And miracle of miracles, they love me too!” It is absolutely incredible she had the strength to do what her kids needed!

Another viewer posted, “This movie was AMAZING!! I loved every minute of it! My mom was adopted from Brazil when she was 16. Her adoptive parents wanted to adopt after losing twin boys. My mom’s birth mother found her when she was 26. Turns out her mom had lost her but never stopped looking for her. She hired investigators and found her in America! She was terrified that my mom would hate her, but my mom was so thankful, and now I have a huge family in Brazil! I’m so blessed!”

Another viewer added, “For someone who is adopted and still has no idea who my birth parents are, cannot wait to see this movie. The trailer looks amazing and familiar.”

This film is timely, especially after abortion has been overturned in the United States. We hope and pray those who watch the film choose adoption. We also hope and pray that those who have been involved in adoption know just how much they were loved and why their parents chose to not only give them life but give it to them in the fullest through adoption.

James 1:27 “Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress.”
