Dustin Nickerson on the Thing He Doesn't Like About this Part of the Country

Dustin Nickerson explained the one thing he really doesn’t like when visiting this part of the country. The popular funnyman had the most hilarious and unexpected thing he greatly dislikes about this particular area of the United States. Watch the short but hysterical clip to hear and see why Dustin says trips here can be a tad troubling at times.

Comedians, much like musicians, spend a lot of time on the road because that’s the nature of that job. Those funny men and women go from state to state and from city to city, entertaining audiences with their jokes, witticisms and quips. Seriously, they must rack up an extraordinary number of frequent flier miles.

While that might not be the life and career for everyone, it’s what every stand-up comic does, at least in the beginning. After they establish themselves and become big enough, they can be pickier and choosier about where they travel, when and how frequently. But until they reach that point, if they ever do, a life on the road it is.

Since comedians travel so much, they are naturally going to encounter places they like more than others. For one reason or another, they will prefer this or that place over another. In a YouTube clip, Dustin mentioned that visiting the Pacific Northwest can be challenging at times because he bears a striking resemblance to a pretty infamous criminal from the area.

“As much as I love coming back to the Pacific Northwest, the one thing I don’t like about it is this group of people all still remember what the ‘Green River Killer’ looked like,” he said. “And that’s not great for me.”

In the video, a photo popped up of the serial killer Dustin mentioned, giving a side-by-side look at the two men. It’s kind of frightening how much they look like one another.

So, given how much he looks like the convicted serial killer, wouldn’t it just be easy for Dustin to shave his mustache and be done with it? Well, he mentions that if he does that, then he has another problem.

“And people are like, ‘Well, why don’t you just shave your mustache?’” he said. “It’s like, well, unfortunately, they also know what Macklemore (a rapper) looks like.”

Proverbs 15:15 “All the days of the troubled are evil; but he whose heart is glad has an unending feast.”
