We could all use more reasons to laugh and smile throughout the day. Life is already entirely too serious, with far too many situations and circumstances that result in either tears, stress or both. Adding some comedy wherever and whenever possible will never be a bad thing. Laughter is, as the old saying goes, the best medicine.

A good laugh can make a good day a great one and an awful day a little less terrible. Can you even think of someone who does not enjoy laughter? Hopefully, you don’t have anyone in your life like that, because that would, without a doubt, be a miserable person who would do nothing but drag others down with them. No one needs a Debbie Downer in their life.

In an attempt to add some laughter and comedy to her students’ lives, an elementary school teacher has what she calls the “Joke of the Day.” She has even concocted a little jingle to go with it, which calls for her students to put their pencils away.

In the latest edition of her joke of the day, she has not one but two jokes. Why did she double up on the laughter? Well, her quick-thinking and witty students figured out the punchline way too fast, so she had to come up with a second one.

While they may have gotten the first one in no time, the students weren’t as successful with the second one. Either way, both jokes are deliriously funny and might even cause you to roll your eyes just a tad, especially if you consider them to be a little too corny.
