John Crist’s Embarrassing and Hilarious DoorDash Moment

John Crist shared his embarrassing and hilarious DoorDash moment. The popular comedian had an experience with a DoorDash delivery driver that he wishes he could, without a doubt, take back and make it as if it never happened. Instead, far too many people continue to believe and share links from sketchy, clearly fake websites simply because they first saw them posted on social media. It’s also, thanks to social media, much easier to get into needless political arguments with someone we don’t know. But we can have someone drop off a meal from our favorite restaurant at our doorstep within 10 minutes or less. So, we have to take the good with the bad, I guess.

In a clip posted on YouTube, John shared an unfortunate and embarrassing incident that occurred through the use of technology. John ordered a meal through DoorDash, and when his delivery driver arrived with his food, things got awkward quickly.

“I walk towards her; we meet,” he said. “She hands me the food. She goes, ‘Can I get a photo?’ She brings out her phone. I now have my food in my hand in this hand. I, with my right hand, go, ‘Absolutely,’ and put my arm around her.’”

Hilariously, she simply wanted to snap a photo of the food that she had just given John, and not one with him.

“If my DoorDash account is, like, suspended, they were, like, ‘You do not,’” he added. “I’d go, ‘I’m not going to fight it.’ I go, ‘Fair. That was wild. That was way out of line.’”
