Bugs Bunny, Wile E. Coyote and Pals Return in ‘Coyote vs. ACME’
Bugs Bunny, Wile E. Coyote and the rest of the gang return in “Coyote vs. ACME.” The upcoming film promises to be a good time, full of plenty of laughs, for the entire family. Watch the short but hysterical clip to get a look at the new film “Coyote vs. ACME.
Cartoons are, without a doubt, the preferred programs for every child. Whenever there is a little one in the house, odds are the TV is tuned to Bluey, Mickey Mouse or whatever cartoon characters are popular at the time. Gone are the days of the local or national television news broadcasts. At least for the time being, parents will get well acquainted with their child’s favorite animated show and its characters because, oftentimes, that will be the only thing that captures their attention and quiets them down for any significant period of time.
Now, cartoons are a rite of passage for every child, something they all watch without fail. We all had our favorites as kids. Many were likely big fans of Bugs Bunny, Porky Pig, Marvin Martian and Sylvester, a black-and-white cat who frequently spits whenever he talks.
In a clip posted on YouTube, Bugs, Porky and others are back in what looks to be a hysterical new movie, “Coyote vs. ACME.” The film, as the trailer indicates, tells what appears, at first glance, to be a hilarious and rather ingenious story.
After years of suffering endless injuries while chasing after the ever-elusive Road Runner, Wile E. Coyote is taking legal action. Now, he’s not coming after the Road Runner (He’s been doing that for decades without any success). No, Wile E. is now coming after Acme, the company whose products he frequently used in his many failed attempts to catch the speedy cartoon bird.
Wile E. spots a commercial stating that if anyone had been injured while using its products, it’s not their fault. Of course, he leaps into action, hoping to win a lawsuit against ACME and be financially compensated for the hundreds of injuries he’s sustained at the hands of ACME’s inferior products.
The film, which stars Will Forte, John Cena and some of the most beloved cartoon characters, lands in theaters on August 28. It’s rated PG for “cartoon violence and some language.”
Job 8:21 “The time will come when your mouth will be full of laughing, and cries of joy will come from your lips.”
