Comedian's Unique and Hilarious Take on Buc-ee's
A comedian shared his unique and hilarious take on Buc-ee’s. The funnyman, Dusty Slay, believes there is a lot happening at the popular gas station chain under the surface. Watch the short but hysterical clip to hear what Dusty says might be going on at Buc-ee’s.
Along many highways in the country, signs of a cartoon beaver sporting a red hat have been popping up. If you’ve been on a road trip within the last several years, especially in the southern region of the United States, you’ve spotted several of these signs. Of course, those signs are for Buc-ee’s, an immensely popular gas station chain with quite the cult following.
However, as anyone who has ever stopped at a Buc-ee’s location knows, they are so much more than a place to fill up the tank. It’s essentially a shopping center that also sells gas. Basically, whatever your heart desires can be found at Buc-ee’s. If you leave a Buc-ee’s empty-handed, you are most certainly doing it wrong. Most people will tell you that you have to pick up some of their brisket.
In a clip posted on YouTube, Dusty, during a conversation with two other comedians, shared that he thinks something odd is taking place at those Buc-ee’s stations. Particularly, he finds it strange that no matter when or where you go into a Buc-ee’s, it’s completely full.
“Some people talk about that we live in a simulation, right?” he said. “And when I think about Buc-ee’s, that’s what I think about. Because before it was just, there was no gas station there. You know, it might have a Love’s on the next exit, where there’s, you know, a handful of people in there. And then all of a sudden, a giant gas station comes, and then every time you’re in there, it’s full.”
Later in the clip, he mentions who some of those people walking around in Buc-ee’s could be.
“Buc-ee’s has their own NCPs in there,” he added. “Non-playable characters that just walk around to make you think it’s busy.”
