This husband and father thought he had come up with a brilliant idea, but his wife wasn’t so sure. He invented something with the intention of making things easier for him and his wife with their little one. Raising children is, without a doubt, one of the most challenging and difficult tasks that anyone can do. Many would, I believe, rightfully say that it is, in fact, the toughest job a person can undertake. How could it not be? It’s not like each child arrives with a how-to or an instruction manual. Every child is different, and parenting is a learning process by trial and error.

As all parents know, children are very unpredictable, which is one of the reasons that makes parenting so difficult. Moms and dads can never know what is coming next. The best thing anyone can do is to be prepared for any and every situation. In a clip posted on YouTube, that is exactly what a father has attempted to do with his invention.

The video opens with the father measuring, cutting and gluing. It’s unclear what exactly he’s attempting to do, but it’s interesting and keeps your attention, to say the least. Eventually, mom arrives home with the couple’s baby, and it’s time for the big reveal.

The father and husband informs his wife that he has something to show her. As soon as he says this, she is unsure and confused as to what is about to happen. Clearly, she is secretly hoping this is a good surprise and not something that will cause her to question or feign excitement and happiness about.

When she finally sees her husband’s invention, and as he explains what it’s for, her reaction is absolutely hilarious.
