Jonnie W.’s Unconventional Marriage Advice Has Everyone Laughing
Jonnie W.’s unconventional marriage advice has everyone laughing. The popular funnyman suggests that married couples in the church should do this one thing. Watch the short but hysterical clip to hear what he says couples should do and why.
Marriage is not a cakewalk, and that’s a statement that will, without a doubt, be backed by every married person. Sure, in every marriage, there will be happy, joyous occasions, reasons that are definitely worth celebrating and commemorating. But, as with everything else in life, the good also comes with the bad. There will be rough times in a marriage. Heated arguments and disagreements will happen, and there will be nights spent on the couch (husbands know this all too well), guarantee it.
Because marriage and life in general can become difficult and challenging at times, it’s always a good idea to add some laughter whenever possible. Who doesn’t want more reasons to laugh and smile? That laugh, whatever it may be, can, and likely will, change your entire day. So, look for reasons and occasions to laugh.
In a clip posted on YouTube, Jonnie gave married couples in the church who have been married for quite some time a place to find a little laughter. He says it can be easily found at church.
“When you’re married as long as I have, you need to find a newlywed couple in your church and then befriend them because they are hilarious,” he said.
Later in the video, he gives a specific example of doing exactly this in his life. The couple, as he mentions, is in his life group.
“There’s a newlywed couple in our life group, and they say stupid stuff all the time,” he added. “They’re like, ‘We knew we were meant to be together because he finishes my sentences.”
Jonnie adds that his wife later told him the couple will not always have the same perspective on finishing each other’s thoughts and sentences.
Genesis 2:24 “For this cause will a man go away from his father and his mother, and be joined to his wife; and they will be one flesh.”
