In the United States of America, anyone is free to open and start a business and sell anything, of course, within reason. If the entrepreneur has the funds necessary and can wade through and navigate the mountains of red tape, they can open up shop and get started as soon as possible. This ability to open up a business is just one of the many great things about the United States.

However, when one is looking to start a small business, it’s best to be smart and strategic about it. Opening a business is an expensive and time-consuming endeavor, so using those two very limited resources in the best possible ways is crucial and will go a long way toward determining whether the business is successful or not.

Another thing to consider when opening a business is location. Where is it going to be, and will other similar businesses be around that spot? In a clip posted on YouTube, John was in Georgia when he came across a Waffle House, make that two Waffle Houses, literally feet from one another.

In life, you’ll come across and experience some rather strange things, but seeing two Waffle Houses that close to one another is one of the weirdest, for sure. Why would any company, let alone a national chain, ever do that? They are simply competing against themselves.

Either way, it makes an extremely odd sight and will make for a good story to tell later – one that most people aren’t likely to believe.
