Podcasts are plentiful today. Everyone has one, and as it turns out, so do most subjects. If you can’t find a podcast about a subject or a topic that piques your interest, you either haven’t looked hard enough or you have zero interests and hobbies. While podcasts are primarily designed to be listened to, there are video podcasts as well, which are just as they sound. In addition to the audio recording of the interview, there is also a video component.

Currently, one of the most popular podcasts is “Good Hang with Amy Poehler,” which is hosted by none other than Saturday Night Live alum and comedian Amy Poehler. Typically, on her show, Amy will have a conversation with one of her many well-known and recognizable friends. One of her most recent guests was fellow actor and comedian Steve Carell, and during the interview, things took an unexpected and hilarious turn. Amy’s parents made a surprise appearance.

In the YouTube clip, Amy mentions that, hysterically, her parents were responsible for Steve being on her podcast. She then calls up her parents. Her father was interested in receiving a finder’s fee, and that’s when he said something no one was expecting.

“You’d be interested to know what I said after you left,” Amy’s father said. “I said, ‘His wife is beautiful!’”

Steve feigned being offended at the comment about his wife, telling Amy’s mother, “That’s not right,” and “that’s weird.” Amy’s mother, hysterically, concurred with Steve’s assessment, vowing to act.

“I’m filing for divorce, now that I think about it,” she said.
