Everyone enjoys going out to eat. Really, who doesn’t love breaking bread with the people you love most? While everyone may agree on that point, things start to get a little dicey when it comes to deciding where to eat. On this topic, everyone seems to have extremely strong thoughts and opinions, and will make them heard, that’s for sure.

When the restaurant has been selected and the party has been seated, then it starts all over again. What will everyone eat? Do they want this or that on it? Do I want a soft drink, or should I hold off and drink water instead? And what about appetizers? Does the table want to split an order of fried pickles or a charcuterie board? Decisions, decisions, decisions!

A clip posted on social media shows how one waiter brought a customer something that most certainly wasn't on the menu. However, that dish, that moment, clearly was one that he’ll never forget – one that would change his life forever.

The video begins with the waiter approaching the table and telling the customer, “This dessert is on us.” He added that this is “going to change your life forever.”

Once he sets the plate on the table, the positive pregnancy test is revealed. The man is going to be a father, and judging by the look of utter surprise, amazement and joy on his face, I’d say he cannot be happier about what he has just learned.

The video ends with the happy couple revealing they will be the proud parents of a baby girl.

I’m guessing that the waiter received quite a large tip that evening.
