Shopping is not even a remotely enjoyable activity. It involves going into a store, spending time looking around, and then using good, hard-earned money to buy something. Yes, I know you exit the retail location with your purchases, but it also costs you time and leaves your wallet a little lighter. What is fun about that?

If I absolutely have to go shopping, I am, at least to me, a very efficient shopper. I have a good idea of what I’m looking for, where to buy it, and when I find that sought-after thing, I buy it and exit. That’s it, nothing more and nothing less. I’m guessing that’s how most men shop. But most women take a very different approach, often looking at this and that and seeing what is on sale as they go from store to store.

In a clip posted on YouTube, a husband gave his wife an assignment. Basically, he wanted to see if she could shop like a man – find one thing, buy it and exit. He asked her to pop into Sephora, buy him one thing and then leave. Was she able to do it?

“So, I know I’m asking for the impossible here, babe,” the husband said, knowing this was going to be a tall task for her. “I need you to go inside Sephora and buy me one thing.”

She was confident that she could fulfill his request. But soon after she went into the store, the husband grew worried about her progress, wondering whether she would be able to do it.

“This is not going to end well,” he said. “I’m kind of worried because she’s already been in there for like 10 minutes.”

To his surprise, when she finally did exit the store, she was carrying a bag.

“That’s a pretty big bag, if you ask me,” the husband said.
