Everyone enjoys comedy, in one form or another, and having a reason to smile and laugh. Seriously, can you think of a single person you know who would rather be sad and depressed than laughing? I know I can’t, and I hope you can’t either. Life is challenging enough that having more laughter and more reasons to smile is always welcome.

While we all enjoy comedy and laughing, the best comedy comes with a little grain of truth. No matter what the joke or situation, some truth and something real is being illuminated, and brought to attention. In a clip posted on YouTube, a woman shares several hysterical and uber-witty adages. Some of these sayings you may have heard before, and others may not have come across your ears until this very moment. However, while they are extremely funny and clever, they are also pretty insightful and wise. They will have you thinking and considering the point those sayings are trying to get across.

“It don’t matter if you’re the best apple on the tree,” she said. “Everybody don’t like apples.”

“Don’t trust nobody who’s nice to you, but rude to the waiter,” she added.

“Sometimes God clears the table ‘cause the wrong people sat down,” the woman stated.

“Don’t tell everybody your business,” she said. “Most people ain’t praying; they’re listening.”
