Anjelah Johnson-Reyes on pregnancy and “ugly” babies will have you cracking up. The popular comedian shared how people reacted to her having a baby, and how not every baby is the most beautiful thing she’s seen. Watch the short but hysterical clip to hear her take on being pregnant, how others reacted to her becoming a mother and how some babies are what she considers “ugly.”

Babies are, without a doubt, a gift from the Lord. There is no bigger blessing than becoming a parent and welcoming a little one into your home and heart. The experience of raising a little one and watching them grow and learn is unlike anything else.

However, not everyone’s journey to becoming a parent is the same. Some couples are extremely fertile and have no issue getting pregnant, while others struggle for years with infertility. Others may choose to delay parenthood, for whatever reason, until later in life. Of course, the point is that no couple’s journey to and experience of becoming a mother and a father are exactly the same.

In a clip posted on YouTube, she mentioned how some people responded to her becoming a mother later in life. She also added her hilariously honest comments, saying she doesn't think every baby is incredibly cute. In fact, she believes that some babies are ugly.

“I posted a picture of my daughter,” she said. “Same day, my friend posted a picture of her grandson. People received this information differently. With her, they’re like, ‘You’re a grandma? No way.’ And with me, they’re like, ‘You just had your first kid? No way. Why?’”

Later in the clip, she shared that one of her concerns while she was pregnant was a fear of having an ugly baby. During an exchange with an audience member, Anjelah proves that she is not the only one who believes babies exist.
