Her Family Christmas Gathering Is Hilarious and Way Too Relatable

Her family Christmas gathering is hilarious and way too relatable. She is doing precisely what many other people do during a family get-together at Christmastime: struggle to stay calm, cool and collected. Watch the short but hysterical clip to see and hear how the family Christmas gathering tests her patience and resolve.

Christmas is a wonderful time of year, and arguably the best part of the entire calendar. It’s the season when family and friends get together to celebrate and recognize the birth of Christ, enjoy a delicious, mouth-watering meal and exchange a gift or two. What is there not to love about Christmas?

While the Christmas season is nearly universally agreed upon to be the best time of the entire year, it’s still not perfect. Given the incredible number of gatherings, parties and other events that populate the calendar that time of year, Christmas can be a particularly exhausting, chaotic and stressful time. There is so much to do and only so much time to get it all done, and when this happens, tempers can flare and blood pressure can rise.

In a clip posted on YouTube, a woman shows how women in the South handle the Christmas season. Hilariously, within a matter of seconds, she experiences a variety of emotions. One moment, she’s thrilled and thankful; the next, she’s upset and raising her voice, clearly indicating that she’s less than pleased with the present circumstances. One could say that she resembles a chicken running around without its head.

Oh, and on top of all the cooking and cleaning she has to do for the family Christmas gathering, there are still a crazy number of presents to wrap. How will she ever get it all done in time?

“I tell you what, we’re just going to pay to have it catered next year ‘cause I ain’t doing this again,” she says.

Who hasn’t been there and had that exact thought?

“I got so many presents to wrap,” she adds. “I’m so unprepared.”

Isaiah 9:6 “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government has been placed in his hands; and he has been named Wise Guide, Strong God, Father Forever, Prince of Peace.”
