Everyone loves going on trips, going out exploring new locales and destinations and simply just getting away from real life and all its concerns and worries, at least for a little bit. Doing so, of course, will do wonders for your physical and mental health. That’s a big reason most companies offer paid vacations to their employees.

No matter how much we enjoy that vacation spot, it’s always nice to return home. Humans need routine and familiarity, and being home provides that. Also, it is, after all, where the heart is, as the popular saying goes. Home is where the people we love and care for most reside, and no one wants to be away from those individuals for an extended period.

In a clip posted on YouTube, a grandmother was making her return home, coming back to the people she loves most. However, while she likely expected everyone to welcome her home with open arms, that’s not exactly what happened.

Instead, grandma was greeted with a sign held by two little ones, likely her grandchildren. But this was unlike any other signs that she had encountered. According to the sign held by the two children, they were welcoming grandma home from prison.

Everyone, including the grandmother, who walked by the sign with the unexpected message, got quite the kick out of it. No one could conceal their laughter as they spotted the two adorable children there, welcoming home their grandmother after serving time in the joint.

Hopefully, the grandmother learned her lesson and does not have to spend any more time in prison. But you never know, I guess.
