Anjelah Johnson-Reyes Makes a Promise to Her Audience

Anjelah Johnson-Reyes made a promise to her audience. The popular comedian surprisingly stated that she would do this for those who were in attendance at her show. Watch the short but hilarious clip to hear the unexpected, laugh-out-loud commitment she made with her audience.

All entertainers, whether they be musicians, magicians, ventriloquists or motivational speakers, want to perform in front of the biggest crowds possible. They want to wow and impress hordes of adoring fans while basking in the applause and adoration. Also, it doesn’t hurt that the bigger the crowd, the more money the entertainer will ultimately make.

While performing in front of thousands and selling out massive venues every night is the dream of every entertainer, only a handful ever reach that level. However, those who do manage to play in front of huge crowds of adoring fans are the most successful entertainers, the ones who make you feel as if you’re the only one in the room. There could be thousands in an arena, but they still have the ability to make you feel as if they are singing or doing their tricks and illusions just for you.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Anjelah found a unique and hilarious way to personalize her act for every member of her audience. She promised them that she would treat them all just like her family.

“Listen, whether it’s your first time or your fifth time at my show, I’m going to treat y’all just like I treat my family,” she said. “I really will.”

This is an incredibly touching and very unexpected move on her part. But she isn’t done, and it shows that not everything is as it first appears or sounds.

“I’m going to start a group text with you in it,” she added. “I’m going to start a second one with you. Then, I’m going to talk about you in the wrong group text.”

Job 8:21 “The time will come when your mouth will be full of laughing, and cries of joy will come from your lips.”
