Justin shares how repeatedly telling his prodigal testimony felt like walking through a neglected garden with God—uprooting, pruning and tending to places that had remained buried. He also opens up about writing “Depend on You (All I Need)” during his and his wife Ashley’s seven-year struggle with infertility, praying for an open womb during the writing session and learning just one week later that Ashley was pregnant.
Now a new father to their son, Theodore, Justin explains why he is stepping back from touring, embracing this new season with his family and learning that his identity does not depend on applause or affirmation. He also discusses his seven Josie Music Awards nominations and what that recognition means to him as an independent Christian artist.
