Rachel Purcell Shares Her Powerful Story of Faith, Healing and Learning to “Keep Going”

Rachel Purcell joins Brandon Woolum in Nashville to share the powerful story behind her new Keep Going EP, arriving September 4 through Centricity Music.

The Muscle Shoals, Alabama, native opens up about her transition from country music to Christian music, the devastating miscarriage and medical emergency that nearly took her life, and how faith, therapy and the support of others helped her begin healing. Rachel also shares how rebuilding her physical strength eventually led her to complete a 10K—and inspired the EP’s message of endurance, trust and hope.

Rachel discusses embracing the soulful sound of her Muscle Shoals roots, writing “You Love Me the Best” with Blessing Offor and creating the cinematic new song “(Can’t) Trust You.” She also reveals how the past two years have transformed her definition of success and offers encouragement for anyone struggling to take the next step.

Keep Going is available now, with the full four-song EP arriving September 4.
