'Sound of Silence' Chilling Cover By Father-Daughter Duo Adrian And Emma-Jean

Enjoy this chilling father-daughter duet from Adrian & Emma-Jean to ‘The Sound Of Silence.’

Simon & Garfunkel originally released this iconic song in 1964. Since that time, many artists have lent their voices to the tune. One of the most well-known covers comes from the rock band, Disturbed, in 2015.

Recently, a cappella group Pentatonix released their own version and it skyrocketed the tune back into popularity. Today, we’re hearing an entirely new rendition, with a nod to classical music, and it’s absolutely stunning.

“Hello darkness, my old friend, I've come to talk with you again
Because a vision softly creeping, Left its seeds while I was sleeping
And the vision that was planted in my brain
Still remains within the sound of silence”

Adrian and Emma-Jean Galliard are a talented father-daughter duo from Johannesburg, South Africa.

On their website, Adrian and Emma-Jean shared that they have been singing together for a while. However, they recently rose “to internet fame after videos of them singing The Prayer & Time To Say Goodbye went viral, leading to them being mistaken for the son & granddaughter of Andrea Bocelli.”

With a whole new audience, the family duo is putting their talents on display with this chilling rendition of ‘The Sound Of Silence.’

“Take my arms that I might reach you""""
But my words, like silent raindrops fell
And echoed
In the wells of silence”

Viewers agree that this performance is unmatched. One commenter said, ‘This little lady can sing. And the guy adds just the right harmony. A great job done folks.’ Another added, ‘I love how Adrian lets his precious daughter take the lead. They both bring it all and are perfect together. Keep singing for us and BRAVO.’

We couldn’t agree more and we’ll definitely be anxiously awaiting their next collaboration.
