Josh Turner Sings 'Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas'

Country star Josh Turner and his family fill us with Christmas spirit as they perform ‘Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas.’ This classic tune was originally released in 1944. It was written by Hugh Martin and Ralph Blane and made famous by Judy Garland in the film ‘Meet Me In St. Louis.’

The timeless lyrics have truly stood the test of time and they are the perfect way to ring in the Christmas season.

“Have yourself a merry little Christmas, Let your heart be light From now on, our troubles will be out of sight”

Josh Turner is one of the most recognizable names in country music. He shot on the scene with his iconic single, ‘Long Black Train’ and hasn’t stopped since.

‘Me And God’ was a 2006 single and one of his first songs to speak on the subject of faith. In 2018, Josh even released a gospel album, titled ‘My Savior.’

Today, he’s got his whole family together as they perform the holiday favorite ‘Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas’ from his Christmas album ‘King Size Manger.’

“Through the years we all will be together, If the Fates allow Hang a shining star upon the highest bough. And have yourself A merry little Christmas now.”

As we spend time with family this holiday season, let us remember the real reason we celebrate and that is the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

Matthew 1:21 “And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins.”
