Chilling Cover Of 'What A Wonderful World' From Home Free's Austin Brown

Home Free’s Austin Brown sets out on his own for an incredible rendition of ‘What A Wonderful World.’

This beloved song was originally released in 1967. It was first recorded by Louis Armstrong and became a smash hit in the United Kingdom. Nearly two decades later, the song appeared in the film Good Morning, Vietnam which led to a resurgence in US popularity.

“I see skies of blue and clouds of white
The bright blessed days, the dark sacred nights
And I think to myself
What a wonderful world”

Today, Austin Brown is putting his own spin on this iconic tune.

You may recognize Austin as a member of the a cappella group Home Free. We met this musical group when they competed in and won the fourth season of The Sing-Off on NBC in 2013. Other members include Rob Lundquist, Adam Rupp, Tim Foust, and Adam Chance and they’ve become viral sensations with their covers of hit songs such as ‘Ring Of Fire’ and ‘How Great Thou Art.’

2020 was an interesting year for people all across the globe. And while the pandemic forced Home Free to stop their tour, it allowed Austin time to discover himself as a solo artist. Fast forward two years, and Austin has been blessing us with incredible covers and stunning original numbers.

Just listen as he belts out the lyrics to the cherished song ‘What A Wonderful World.’

“The colors of the rainbow so pretty in the sky
Are also on the faces of people going by
I see friends shaking hands, saying how do you do
They're really saying, I love you”

1 Peter 1:21 “Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.”
