Teens With Disabilities Show There Are No Limits With Golden Buzzer BGT Audition

I’m not crying. You’re crying. But it truly is tears of wondrous joy because God created each and every one of us to shine gloriously for him.

In this incredible performance to Hairspray’s ‘You Can’t Stop The Beat,’ teens with disabilities show there are no limits with their golden buzzer BGT audition.

Some of us have been blessed to grow up with a family member who has a disability. We’ve had a front-row seat to all the challenges, setbacks, and triumphs of living life with a disability. We know they look different, talk different, but when we get the privilege of being friends with someone with a disability, we get to see the world through their eyes and it truly blesses us.

And this performance by a group of teens called, Born To Perform is spectacular. Born to Perform lit up the stage with their enthusiasm, energy, and their smiles. This fun-filled dance was filled with cartwheels, twirls, and jazz hands all around. And their outfits are a nod to the days of Grease, poodle skirts, and bowties.

When they concluded their performance, they had a standing ovation from the audience and they were given the Golden Buzzer by David. He said, “'I absolutely loved it guys. In fact, I loved it so much that I'm gonna do this!”

Judge Alisha Dixon, commented, “Your passion is just pouring out, it's just wonderful to see, you did a fantastic job, each and every one of you.” While Simon added, “I didn’t like it. I loved it!”

Simon also told them, “I loved the fact that you were having such a great time, it was actually one of my favorite auditions.”

While some people may think the word disability means being incapable, we know God created each and every one of us with gifts and talent to reflect his glory in all of us. We hope Born To Shine put a smile on your face today!

1 Samuel 16:7 “But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.”
