13-Year-Old Kid Ventriloquist Has The Judges In Stitches During BGT Audition

Watch this audition for “Britain’s Got Talent,” and enjoy several side-splitting laughs courtesy of a 13-year-old kid ventriloquist, who had the judges in stitches! Jamie Leahey and his sidekick Chuck will leave you feeling as bright and sunny as the bow ties the two wear at their necks!

Jamie hails from Rainford, which is a village in the Metropolitan Borrow of St. Helens in Merseyside, England. He’s a student there—quite possibly an industrious one at that. You see, Jamie used his COVID quarantine time learning ventriloquism! That was time well spent!

Jamie begins his act straight away and allows his sassy chicken puppet to deliver the funniest lines. Jamie is meticulously groomed and wears a white shirt, yellow suspenders, dark slacks, and tennis shoes. His look is a bit old-fashioned, and so is the fun. But, that is what makes it cool! The bits are easy, playful, and silly!

Chuck makes a pun about being a “comedi-hen,” and he pokes fun at Judge David. Jamie and Chuck banter back and forth, and then the two break into a song. They sing “Me and My Shadow,” recorded by Sammy Davis, Jr. and Frank Sinatra in the 1960s. That’s a big step back in time for this young performer!

As Jamie sings Chuck’s part, there is not a sign of mouth movement. He is amazing! Jamie demonstrates great timing, confidence, and skill, and the judges are delighted with his performance. Jamie gets a standing ovation from Simon, Amanda, David, and Alesha!

Jamie beams at the response from the audience. And, why not? This young man may find himself accomplishing his ultimate goal—entertaining right where Sammy Davis, Jr., Frank Sinatra, and other members of the “Rat Pack” once did. Jamie told BGT, “My biggest dream is in Vegas, my name up in lights."

Good luck to you, Jamie and Chuck! We will be watching. The world could use more of your brand of humor!
