'Redeeming Love' Movie Shares Retelling Of Biblical Book Of Hosea

Inspired by a Bible story, 'Redeeming Love' is the powerful retelling of the book of Hosea.

This romantic story is set during the California Gold Rush of 1850 and the underlying theme is that there is no brokenness that true love and perseverance cannot heal.

The film features a great cast that many will recognize from their body of work including movies and TV series. It stars Abigail Cowen as Angel, Tom Lewis as Michael Hosea, Nina Dobrev as Mae, Famke Janssen as Duchess, and Grey's Anatomy star Eric Dane as Duke.

The trailer appropriately features the song 'Rescue' by Christian artist Lauren Daigle.

I will send out an army to find you
In the middle of the darkest night
It's true, I will rescue you

In theatres starting January 2022, the movie is adapted from the international best-selling novel of the same name by Francine Rivers. The New York Times bestselling author had a successful writing career before becoming a born-again Christian. "She the wrote Redeeming Love as her statement of faith." the movie's website shares.

Come, let us return to the LORD. He has torn us to pieces but he will heal us; he has injured us but he will bind up our wounds. Hosea 6:1
