Tim Hawkins Shares Message From Wife As Proof Men And Women Text Differently

From his Las Vegas show, ‘Losing Our Minds Together,’ comedian Tim Hawkins shares a message from his wife as proof men and women text differently. First comes love, then comes marriage, and then texting! Texting is a great way to stay connected to your spouse as you send messages about love, grocery items, or just how your day is going.

In this hilarious clip, Tim proves just how different men and women are. It will have you in stitches. When men text, they text typically in a concise, problem-solving manner, but when women text, it tends to be more relational and has a lot more words.

“When men text, it’s just a couple of words. I have nothing left. When I get another thought, I will send that out to you, but right now, it’s just a couple of crickets playing racket ball up in there,” he joked. “But when women text, whoa. What are you doing? You all look like a squirrel holding a nut.”

The comparison has the audience in stitches. Then Tim shares a text message between himself and his wife. It is hilarious. All Tim asked his wife, “Hello, my darling. How are you today?” His wife responded with five paragraphs that spiderwebbed as to how she was doing. The floodgates had officially opened!

Her response had the entire audience laughing from her comments of doing okay to talking about her visit to the chiropractor and eventually ends with their son playing Xbox before bed. The only thing Tim could say in response was, “Okay.” Actually, he just sent, “K,” because he didn’t want to overdo it and somehow get a blister from all the texting.

If you don’t know who Tim is, you are in for a real treat. He is a 54-year-old Christian comedian, singer, and songwriter the whole family can enjoy. He is known for his parodies of famous songs like Carrie Underwood’s “Jesus, Take The Wheel,” which he cleverly renamed “Cletus, Take the Reel,” and my personal favorite, “The Government Can.” Watch the video below and be prepared for snorting, giggles, and belly laughs.
