‘Unforgettable’ by Kelly Clarkson

Kelly Clarkson is someone most people enjoy. Her bubbly and welcoming personality and terrific singing voice make her an easy person to like.

She was the original American Idol, taking the top spot on the first season of the popular reality competition show. Since taking that crown, Kelly has enjoyed an enviable career. She has put out several albums, had many number-one singles and was even a judge on The Voice. Now, she is the host of her own daytime talk show, The Kelly Clarkson Show.

Recently, on her show, Kelly took the microphone and reminded us why she won American Idol all those years ago. She sang Nat King Cole’s classic tune,“Unforgettable.”

Needless to say, as the clip shows, Kelly knocks it out of the park! Her beautiful voice and the song’s sweet lyrics make for an excellent pairing.

“Unforgettable that’s what you are
Unforgettable though near or far
Like a song of love that clings to me”

Others, in response to Kelly’s performance, were thrilled by Kelly’s performance of “Unforgettable.” They were singing her praises.

“Kelly Clarkson’s voice is undeniably unforgettable, and her kindness is unsurpassable, her band is outstanding,” one person posted on YouTube.

One person wrote that Kelly, because of her immense talent, should face legal action.

“It’s illegal to be that talented!! It’s my favorite old time song and she really sang it perfectly,” they commented.

Another person remarked on the dress Kelly wore and about the stage she performed on during the performance.

“Everything in this performance is beautiful, her, her hair, her dress, the lights and the band’s performance. What a great tribute to Nat King Cole and to Martin Luther King,” one person posted.

It is clear that Kelly is still wowing people today like she did those judges on American Idol all those years ago.

Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”
