‘No Vacancy’ Movie Trailer on PureFlix

There are people in this world who are hurting deeply. Whether it be a physical, emotional or spiritual need, these struggling individuals are all around us. To those going through a time of despair, no act of kindness or generosity would be too small. One new film looks at a group of people in need and a church trying to provide some much-needed help.

“No Vacancy” is a faith-centered film based on a true story currently streaming on PureFlix. The flick is about a church struggling to purchase a motel that they intend to use to help those living on the streets.

Additionally, the film depicts the change of a reporter who, after hitting a rough patch in her career, picks up on the church’s attempts to buy the hotel after coming in contact with and befriending a homeless individual, according to IMDB

The film stars Sean Young (“Blade Runner,” “Wall Street”) and Dean Cain (“God’s Not Dead,” “Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman”).

The film’s dramatic trailer opens with a closeup look at three characters who are obviously struggling as a voice-over says, “Everything you’ve been through, God custom made you for this.” Next, the trailer moves onto Pastor Cliff Lea, played by Cain, as he addresses a crowded room.

As the pastor begins speaking about his church’s homeless and rehabilitation programs, images and clips of people dealing with various issues are played. The pastor states that he understands that the church’s programs and those of the city may line up perfectly but, as he puts it, “we believe they are closely aligned with the heart and mind of God.”

The pastor also admits that “we know this is not an end-all solution, but it is a step in the right direction.”

Matthew 25:40 “And the King shall answer and say to them, Truly I say to you, Inasmuch as you have done it to one of the least of these my brothers, you have done it to me.”
