Pregnant Singer Stuns With Huge Vocals On Britain’s Got Talent
A woman weeks from giving birth gave a performance on Britain’s Got Talent that left everyone in the room cheering and applauding.
Massive talent can come from people and places where it’s least expected. God blesses everyone with different skills, aptitudes and interests. But those God-given abilities will remain hidden until people decide to step out, casting all fear and nerves aside, and share them. Luckily, one woman was brave enough to share her stunning singing voice with the world.
Amy Lou, a 34-year-old part-time sunbed shop receptionist, is 30 weeks pregnant with a baby girl and is a mother of a 4-year-old son. Prior to her performance, Amy tells the judges that she has never sung in front of a huge crowd. Instead, as she tells the judges, Amy is used to smaller, much more intimate venues, like pubs.
It's clear from Simon Cowell’s expression to Amy’s answer about singing in pubs on the weekends, he’s not expecting much from her. In a few seconds, Simon would be entirely wrong and pleasantly surprised.
Amy, for her audition, went with Beyoncé’s “Listen,” a brave and gusty move on her part, as one of the judges would tell her. Nevertheless, Amy goes on to give a show-stopping performance. It’s one that causes everyone to sit up and take notice of her powerful and beautiful voice.
In addition to her terrific vocal performance, Amy appears right at home on the stage. She plays to the crowd like a seasoned professional, someone who has been doing this for years.
Amy leaves everyone stunned. They respond by giving her a well-deserved standing ovation.
When it comes time for the judges to provide Amy feedback on her performance, Alesha begins by giving her a huge compliment.
“That was by far my favorite audition,” Alesha said.
Amy is moved by the judges lavishing her with one compliment after another as she wipes away tears.
Not surprisingly, especially with a voice like that, Amy gets four emphatic yes votes. She is moving onto the next round of the competition!
Psalm 147:1 “Give praise to the Lord; for it is good to make melody to our God; praise is pleasing and beautiful.”
