We have all been significantly blessed in life. Sure, we may not have everything we want, and some things might not be going our way. However, if we were to stop and consider everything in our lives and all we have, we’d conclude pretty quickly that we are, in fact, blessed.

So, understanding that we are blessed, it’s always good to express gratitude for those blessings. Yes, the Bible mentions that we should take our worries, cares, burdens and requests to the Lord in prayer. But remembering to thank Him for all we have should be something we do regularly. It’s good to know and understand the source of those blessings, and being appreciative is always a good thing.

In a clip posted on YouTube, one young man is beyond grateful for what he has been given: a surprise birthday party. The little guy breaks down in tears when he realizes what is happening. Even through his tears, he expresses a message of gratitude.

The video begins with the child being carried into the house with his eyes covered. When the big moment arrives and the surprise waiting for him is revealed, the look on his face says it all. His mouth is left hanging open at what he saw.
