A comedian hilariously renamed businesses to be more accurate. Don McMillan has come up with entirely new names for several very prominent companies, which are meant to reflect what they are known for and what they do. Watch the short but hysterical clip to see some of the places he’s renamed and why and to determine whether he’s correct or not.

Naming a business is a big, important step in the life of that business. The name of that establishment should always reflect what the company does and what it is all about. Business owners do not want to mess up this step! In other words, the name should be as accurate as possible.

However, some businesses have become synonymous with their products over the years. When people think of ice cream, Ben & Jerry’s, Dairy Queen and Cold Stone Creamery likely immediately come to mind. Also, many likely think of an overpriced, pretentiously named cup of coffee whenever Starbucks is uttered.

But, through many interactions and visits to retail establishments, the businesses often become known for good and bad things. Maybe this is reflected in their name, and maybe it’s not. In a clip posted on YouTube, Don has come up with new names for a handful of recognizable businesses. As he states, he believes the names he’s come up with are much more accurate and better describe these companies, and he might be right!

In the video, Don kicks off his renaming bit by sharing his new name for the popular Italian restaurant Olive Garden. The name he’s offered adds the item he and many other people love most from the restaurant. Next, it’s his surprisingly hysterical take on Ross Dress for Less. It’s abundantly clear from his proposed new name for the retailer that he’s not a fan.

 “It should be called “Ross Cheap Crap,” he says, much to the delight of his audience.

He also offers new business names for Spirit Airlines, In-N-Out, Trader Joe’s and Southwest Airlines.
