Mom Shares How Her 2-Year-Old Told a Sibling to Pipe Down in the Cutest Way Ever

A mom shared how her 2-year-old told a sibling to pipe down in the cutest way ever. The little girl wanted her sibling to cease talking and made her desire known through a unique and hilarious method. Watch the short but hysterical clip to hear how the child got her message across to her sibling.

Children are some of the most brutally honest people you’ll ever meet. Ask a child for their thoughts if you want to hear a completely blunt and straightforward assessment and opinion. It doesn’t matter what the topic or subject is; they will tell you how they feel and think without any concern for the feelings of others. Of course, they don’t know any better, or do they?

In addition to being incredibly honest, children have a unique way of looking at the world. Since they are so young, with little life experience, they are constantly learning. Whenever they pick up something new, they will likely apply that new information to other situations. Given their young age and what they learn from those around them, this can make for some awkward and hilarious situations.

In a clip posted on YouTubehttps://www.youtube.com/shorts/tsItEsx5tVQ, a mother shared that her 2-year-old, following her interactions with her mother’s smartwatch, has learned to silence it; she must lightly tap it to do so. But to keep her from ruining their devices, Mom constantly reminds her that her taps must be gentle. So, whenever the child taps her mom’s smartwatch to silence it, she taps it while saying “gentle.”

Mom added that the child now believes this method is how you shut off anything that is being noisy. So, thinking this is how you make everything loud quiet, the child thought it might work on her sibling.

“One of her siblings would not stop talking, and it was very early in the morning,” the mother said. “She said a few times, ‘Please stop,’ referencing the constant communication that was coming out of their sibling’s mouth. And she walked over to her sibling, tapped her sibling on the mouth, and said, ‘Gentle.’

There are many worse and harsher ways to tell someone to shut up.

Job 8:21 “The time will come when your mouth will be full of laughing, and cries of joy will come from your lips.”
