These Two Little Guys Playing Peekaboo Will Make Your Day
Check out these adorable little guys as they play peekaboo; it will make your day! Soon enough, these precious baby boys will be mischievous middle-schoolers. Soon enough, they will graduate from high school, marry, and start families. For now, though, they enjoy a cardboard box and sibling interaction. It is cuteness overload!
The infant, clad in his Superman sleeper, is safely held captive in his floor seat as his toddler brother hangs out in a discarded, but oh-so valuable, empty carton. Big brother, still a little guy, wears his own cuddly, snuggly, blue-and-red, zip-up sleeper. They can take the day easy!
The two have a blast as the older hides from his baby brother behind the stiff, brown flap of the empty Pampers carton. Their parents probably buy a lot of Pampers!
The brown-eyed boy pulls the flap up and covers his face. His chubby fingers curl over the edge of the raised flap, and a few of his dark locks show above the barrier. But, even so, he surprises his younger brother each time he pushes the flap down and pops up out of the carton! Baby boy kicks his legs, bounces in his chair, and laughs. He is delighted by his entertaining big brother. The two have a ball, and it looks like they could play this game all day long!
In their play, the brothers are building a bond that will grow and be unlike any other they’ll experience in life, and what a privilege it is for their Mom to see that connection form from the very early days of their childhood.
While these precious children are delighted with the simplest of activities, older kids and teens often complain of boredom. And, as adults, we regularly fail to appreciate the joy in beautifully and wonderfully simple things. We ought to take a lesson from the littles and look for the fun in all the simple, screen-free, silly little wonders God gives!
“And he said: ‘Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 18:3
