Christmas Classic ‘Joy to the World’ Gets Beautiful Lyric Video
The Christmas classic “Joy to the World” has received a beautiful lyric video. Everyone is more than familiar with “Joy to the World,” yet it remains a beloved tune heard and performed every Christmas season. Watch the short but delightful clip to listen to and view the lyric video for “Joy to the World.”
Many would argue, and likely be correct, that Christmas is the best time of the year. It’s a season when family and friends gather to exchange gifts, eat too much delectable food and simply enjoy each other’s company. What could be better than that? Yes, it’s typically cold, and can be downright frigid, during the Christmas season, but you can’t have everything, right? Nothing is perfect.
Regardless of your Christmas traditions and celebrations, they are nothing more than an empty, meaningless exercise if the birth of Christ is not recognized and celebrated. His coming to Earth, as a child born in a manger surrounded by barnyard animals, is the reason for the entire season. The Son of God, who would and does save man from his sins, had finally arrived. That is certainly something worth celebrating.
One of the many Christmas songs that recognizes and honors the arrival of Jesus Christ is “Joy to the World.” Yes, it’s a song we all know, likely by heart, but that does not lessen the powerful, moving lyrics about the absolute elation and jubilation felt after Jesus Christ had finally entered the world. Of course, this is the most important birth that has ever and will ever occur.
“Joy to the world; the Lord is come
Let Earth receive her King
Let every heart prepare Him room
And heaven and nature sing”
Praise God! The one true King has come. He who was sent to save humanity from their sins has arrived. How could one not get joyful and overly excited about that world-altering, life-changing birth in that lowly manger all those years ago?
Isaiah 9:6 “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”
