Oops! Couple’s Engagement Moment Blocked by Unaware Bystanders

A pair of unaware bystanders blocked a couple’s engagement moment from being recorded. The man and woman were trying to capture their proposal and her answer when things did not exactly go according to plan. Watch the short but hilarious video to see who and how their special moment was ruined.

The moment when the man gets down on bended knee and pops the question is an occasion to remember and cherish for every couple. It’s a story that will be told to your children and grandchildren, so it had better be a good one. No one wants a boring engagement story that they’ll have to repeat for the rest of their lives.

If it’s not the most romantic, thought-out proposal, at least make it humorous and something both people will remember for the rest of their lives. While one couple intended a romantic proposal, it didn’t go that way. Instead, they had to settle for one that would keep them for the rest of their lives.

As seen in a clip posted on YouTube, the couple, Kevin Ariette and Natalie Melani, had all the makings for a sweet, adorable and incredibly romantic proposal. Their location, Santorini, the popular and beautiful Greek island, was perfect. He had the ring ready to go, had just gotten down on bended knee and the camera was set up perfectly to capture the moment. But that’s when things went horribly wrong!

A woman utterly oblivious to what is happening behind her steps in front of the camera, completely blocking the couple’s special moment. If that wasn’t enough, her husband, chowing down on a candy bar, also steps into the frame.

Thankfully, the couple had a sense of humor about the unaware bystanders parking themselves in front of the camera as their special moment unfolded.

Being aware of other people and your surroundings is always a good idea. Who knows, you could inadvertently ruin someone’s special moment, too.

Philippians 2:3 “Doing nothing through envy or through pride, but with low thoughts of self, let everyone take others to be better than himself.”
