Kelly Clarkson is, without a doubt, one of the most talented, gifted singers working today. The original American Idol is one of the few people who can sing nearly any song from any and every genre and make it something that you’ll listen to repeatedly. Her singing the phonebook (Do they still produce it?) and making it worth listening to would not be out of the question. And she seemingly does so in such an effortless manner. Of course, it’s not effortless; she’s just that talented that it appears that way.

Well, the musical talent did not stop with Kelly because she is clearly not the only singer in her household. It seems to run in the family. Kelly’s daughter, 11-year-old River Rose, is also a gifted singer and can belt out the lyrics and hold the notes like her talented mother.

In a clip posted on YouTube, River Rose surprised everyone and joined her mother to sing “Heartbeat Song.” Both sound wonderful, giving the audience such a sweet and unexpected treat. They responded to the performance with a thunderous round of applause. At the end of their performance, Kelly gives her pre-teen daughter a massive hug.

Not only did they sound similar, but they even dressed alike for their outstanding musical performance. This was undoubtedly a moment and a performance that both will likely remember and cherish for quite some time.

The video’s description explains that the mother-daughter duet occurred at one of the shows during Kelly’s “Studio Sessions” residency in Las Vegas.
