Family Welcomes Cat Whose Purr Is Unlike Anything You’ve Heard
A family welcomed a cat whose purr is unlike anything you've ever heard. No matter how much you may hear it, the feline's sound will likely always remain a tad jarring. Watch the short but heartwarming story about how one family welcomed a furry, four-legged family member with a unique sound.
God is in the business of making originals. He does not do replicates, duplicates or carbon copies. Sure, there are identical twins and other instances in which people look similar. However, they are still unique individuals created by the one who put the moon, sun and stars in place.
Likewise, no two animals are 100 percent alike. Sure, some may look similar, but as every pet owner—past or present—understands, they are all different and unique in their own way. Their personalities are typically extremely varied, even among kittens and puppies from the same litter. A clip posted on YouTube shows that animals are even different from one another, even when it comes to the sounds that they make.
Birdie is a full-grown black-and-white cat. She's gorgeous, very sweet and lovable. She's everything you want in a cute, furry and four-legged friend. But there’s something very different about her, and if you listen closely (or not even that closely), you'll pick up on what makes Birdie different from any other cat you've ever encountered.
That's because Birdie's purr sounds like something from a creature that would have roamed the Earth during the prehistoric age. Yes, Birdie's owner accurately describes the feline's purr as "sounding like dinosaur purring."
The young woman in the clip explains that Birdie happened to show up in her family's neighborhood one day, and she just started checking on and taking care of the feline. She worked with her local animal shelter, hoping that Birdie, who is very friendly and loving, had an owner.
But that was not the case. No one claimed the odd-sounding cat, and so Birdie became a member of Emy's family.
Genesis 1:21 "And God created great whales, and every living creature that moves, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good."
