It’s been said that home is where the heart is, and that is incredibly true. We all seek and want to be comfortable, and oftentimes that place is wherever we reside. Why? Well, it’s a known, familiar location, and usually it’s in the same area where our friends and family live as well. Who wouldn’t feel safe and secure in such a place?

However, it’s not really possible to remain at home 24/7, 365 days a year. Work and other obligations will occasionally require us to travel and be away from home for a day or two, or even longer. But it’s for that reason that hotels and Airbnb exist.

When staying at a hotel, many people have a habit of taking items on their way out the door, prior to turning in their key card and checking out. Some common items that may be taken include the small bottles of shampoo and conditioner, but that’s probably as far as it ought to go. However, we know people like to push things, and their hands might become especially sticky.

In a clip posted on YouTube, John was on his way out of a hotel and really needed a pillow. So, he grabbed one of the pillows from his room, alerted a hotel employee about what he was doing, and offered to pay for it. The hotel employee was clearly taken aback.

“I walk past the front desk, and I go, ‘Hey, how much is this pillow?’ he recalled asking. “They go, ‘What?’ I go, ‘We got to drive three hours, we’re not going to Walmart to go buy a pillow.’ I go, ‘How much is this pillow?’”

The woman behind the desk was utterly confused and wasn’t sure how to respond.

“She goes, ‘We don’t, I’ve never heard of this,’” John recalled the woman saying. “I go, ‘Well, hear of it.’”
