Comedian’s Babysitting Tale Is Relatable—and Absolutely Hysterical
A comedian’s babysitting tale is relatable and absolutely hysterical. Anjelah Johnson-Reyes shared the powerful lesson she learned about children after agreeing to watch her godson. Watch the short but hilarious clip to hear what Anjelah learned the hard way about those little ones.
Children are, without a doubt, a tremendous blessing. Anyone who says or believes otherwise would be an individual to avoid. How could anyone think they are anything but a blessing? Children will dramatically change your life in every possible way, but always for the better. They add an incalculable amount of joy and happiness to every household.
While those youngsters are an absolute blessing, parenting is not an easy task. In fact, being a parent and teaching and raising a child is likely the most challenging thing anyone can do. Ask any parent or grandparent, and they are likely to voice their agreement without giving it much thought. Even simply babysitting, watching a little one for a short period of time, can be too much for some people. Many babysitters are all too happy when the parents return home.
In a clip posted on YouTube, Anjelah shared that she had agreed to watch her godson, Elijah, and she quickly learned something about children: they are much smarter and craftier than she had anticipated. She mentioned what and how she picked up this lesson, sending the entire audience into a fit of laughter.
“I learned that kids are smart,” she said. “And by smart, I mean manipulative. They know how to get what they want. They know how to get out of trouble.”
Later in the clip, she said this lesson came when she was attempting to feed her godson. He tried to fool her into thinking he was eating, but wasn’t doing a very good job at it. Anjelah threatened to call the child’s mother, and unexpectedly, the youngster called her bluff.
Proverbs 22:6 “If a child is trained up in the right way, even when he is old, he will not be turned away.
