Children want nothing more than to spend time with their parents. For the most part, the activity does not matter as long as they get to spend time and be with you. They simply want to know that they are loved and cared for, and what better way to do that than by paying attention to and spending time with them? And what parent doesn’t want to spend time with their child?

While most children may not prefer a particular activity during these parent-child bonding sessions, they still do have favorites and things they might suggest. For instance, every parent has played their fair share of Hide and Seek. It’s almost a rite of passage for parents; they indulge and humor their children by playing this oh-so-much-fun yet simple and popular childhood game.

In a clip posted on YouTube, a father and his daughter are engaged in a spirited game of Hide and Seek. It’s the young woman’s turn to hide as the video begins. She gives her father specific instructions before she goes to scout out potential hiding locations.

“Daddy, wait there,” the adorable child says.

You know she means business because she points at her father as she gives him these instructions.

Moments later, the child runs off into another room and has seemingly found a spot to hide, hoping her father won't see her. However, her hysterically unexpected hiding spot is somewhat out in the open, and her father completes the seek stage of Hide and Seek rather quickly.

Then, it’s Dad’s turn to hide, and his hiding spot is also not where or what you would expect, either.
