Jonnie W. Reveals Hilarious Joke That Wasn't Appreciated by Everyone

Jonnie W. has revealed the hilarious joke that wasn’t appreciated by everyone. The popular comedian wrote this joke specifically for this audience, and he said they were not big fans of it, to say the least. Watch the short but hilarious clip to hear the joke that ruffled some feathers.

Everyone loves laughing and having reasons in their lives that make them smile and laugh. We can all agree, wholeheartedly, that having more laughter and humor in our lives would only make everything better. I mean, can you even think of someone who would rather be angry and upset than laughing and smiling? I sure hope not; that would be one miserable person.

Knowing all of that would naturally lead one to believe that not taking everything so seriously and being able to laugh at ourselves would be prerequisites for more comedy and humor. However, it’s abundantly clear that some people are still struggling with the laughing-at-ourselves part of the equation. Jonnie W. learned this fact the hard way when he performed at a homeschool event in Texas in the summer of 2020.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Jonnie explained the situation and shared the joke he wrote specifically for that audience, which did not go over so well.

“This lady calls me, all excited, ‘Jonnie, a thousand homeschool families are waiting on you. Now, we done heard you’re homeschooled,’” he said. “And I was. The last two years of high school, I was homeschooled.”

Later in the clip, he mentions that soon after he stepped out onto the stage, he told the joke that he says almost resulted in him being beaten up.

“I came running out, I was like, ‘Guys, what is the difference between a 1,000 homeschoolers and my dogs?’ he said. “And they were like, ‘What?’ I said, ‘My dogs are vaccinated.’ And these homeschoolers will bite you. They will bite you.”
